Banana Bay Boutique Retreat Near Cruise Port One Mile to Beach with Free Bikes

Clean and pretty Positive: Clean and comfortable and in a good location near cruise port. Negative: It had rained 6 inches that day so we had to wade into the front door. Keychain was stuck in the lock box so we had to call staff to come let us in. Maybe add some more landscape pavers to allow people to not have to wade up to their ankles in water? Maybe keychains need to be smaller so they won’t obstruct the lock box access?

Nice place, but don't recommend bringing pets and owners are a little rude. Positive: The unit was very nicely decorated, and was a nice little comfy studio. Great location to the strand and even though we didn't use it, the bikes are a nice touch. There was a leak in the bathroom and it was promptly addressed. Negative: Some more care could have been put into checking the unit before a guest checks as we noticed sand on the couch and a big leak under the bathroom sink. The person we were in contact was discourteous and unpleasant to communicate with. We were traveling with our fur friends (dogs), and they failed to disclose that they were going to charge us a pet fee. When asked where that policy was, they could not show us. They said they heard barking while gone, it was not quiet hours time (6pm) and we were back within 2hrs of being gone. We had stepped out of the unit for a couple hours to go eat at a restaurant that did not allow dogs, and then received a text telling us we were not allowed to leave them alone and said they are not a "boarding house". Overall they did not seem pet friendly. After going back and forth and them never showing us a policy about fees, they agreed to drop the fee thankfully. Would not recommend if you are traveling with pets.

It was a wonderful stay & plan to stay there again! Positive: Decor was beautiful, bed was very comfortable & location was perfect. Close distance to strand & close proximity to restaurant was great!

Great location with so much to see and do nearby Positive: Open layout was perfect for a couples getaway Negative: Parking was a little hidden. Also someone parked in our spot towards the end of our stay.
