Positive: Great location, beautiful house, very helpful hosts! And bonus restaurant Sugar and Rye across the street!! The food is top notch! Negative: The beds could've been a bit softer, maybe a mattress topper.

Beautiful, clean home but needs lots of basic maintenance Positive: This was our fifth year in a row to book the White House for a week. The area around the house has improved since we first stayed here in 2021. It’s quieter especially at night and having Sugar and Rye across the street is nice. Negative: The property needs some maintenance. The upstairs master bath was missing a door knob when we arrived but the owners sent someone to fix that the next day. There were several lamps missing bulbs and the wine fridge wasn’t working. Both of these things were fixed by the second day, but the place needs someone to go over it to do a lot of minor repairs. The skirting on the bottom of the fridge was sitting on the floor beside the fridge when we arrived and several cabinets are missing by knobs. One the roll shades was in the living room was broken so you couldn’t raise or lower it. The a/c stopped working one night but came back on after a while, thankfully. There are two sets of washers and dryers which is nice, but the upstairs dryer is extremely noisy and can be heard all through the house. It obviously needs some maintenance. The property claims to have 3-4 parking spaces in the back of the house for the guests but the last two years a construction trailer has been parked in one of the spots allowing for only three spots back there. The owners were kind enough to say we can park in the lot on the other side of Emily’s. Since we’ve stayed here so many times the lack of attention to the property is more apparent, but otherwise it’s a beautiful home in a great location within walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

Positive: Loved the location. Could walk everywhere we wanted to go.

Great house and would stay again. Positive: House is stunningly beautiful. Ceiling are high, decorated to perfection, and lots of comfortable seating. Kitchen is beautiful with lots of seating at the large island. Location is close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Negative: Bars are also close by so you hear the music on Friday and Saturday nights. Kitchen is appointed with the basics but if you plan on cooking check for what you need before starting (would benefit from serving dishes, more mixing bowls, casseroles, etc).
